The Silence is broken, interupted, shattered, whatever.

I'm not sure why i haven't been writing. For whatever reason it is not for lack of things to speak of. Some of you have undoubtably heard rumors, others dreamed dreams, some seen visions? All of these are natural in my absence. Fear not though. I am here to clear up everything.

True: I forgot my xanga password and had to reset it prior to writing this. Perhaps Elephants don't forget, Maybe i should get one of those.

True: I am engaged to a wonderful young lass named Lauren Howser. She shall be my bride. We shall laugh, We Shall dance... We shall make babies.... just not right away. We shall not shop at Cost Co.... Ever... unless we accidently make too many babies.

False: I have devised some evil plan to get my friends and soon to be family to move to Ohio... I can't help it if it is more relaxing than Georgia. Get over it.

True: I did devise an evil fairy tale like plan to wisk my girlfriend off to Europe and propose on horse back overlooking the beach and heaven like coast of the furthest point on that contenent. Top it.. I dare you.

False: I enjoy running.

True: I do enjoy my latest listening habit of typing one word into the search bar of my itunes music library and then listening to all the songs that come up. ( Obvious Hint: don't type the band names)

False: I have run out of things to say, thus i quit xangaing... For all you know i could have been pondering the farthest deepest hardest principle of life in Springfield.

Also False: There exists a farthest deepest hardest principle of life in Springfield.

True: I am enjoying One80. We have a podcast.

False: I avoid singing Christmas Songs in the Shower because the of the cold weather.

True: I am running out of battery and must leave, but i will post again soon.

So i'll resist the need to start every post with "Yes i am alive." Something about the summer makes inside computer typing or this xanga thing less attractive. Maybe it's just me lately. Needless to say things are moving along in Ohio. Quina and i are moving into our place in Springfield (yes in springfield) and i'm about ready to be done with the concrete thing.

I'm excited about the coming year with One80. I'm praying that God will do some significant things this year. It always strikes me as interesting that we as people measure significance in far different terms than the Bible and Jesus present. So when praying for significant things to take place i'm really not sure what we're going to get. Regardless the whole thing will be a growing time for me. I appreciate the people at One80 who have been very encouraging, and kind enough to put up with my growing and crazy ideas.

School again in the fall only this time online. It's getting close to the end and i'm glad to see the finish line or at least it looks like the finish line. I remember one time when some friends and i were hiking down a mountain from a 12 hour hike and we kept seeing things like building through the trees... we thought the end was just up ahead... yeah after 2 miles of buildings that didn't exist we just gave up on the fact that the end was close. This school thing should prove to be different i hope.

Thats about the jist of it. I could write more about some random things that happened: being kissed by a guy in a Bp, store manicans with nipples sanded off, etc. But perhaps another time.

Wow it's been too long... maybe it hasn't .. i dunno.

This is more of a quick update for those away, to know i'm alive.
Things are slower here which means i haven't had that much insentive to get online and find an outlet for stress. Things that are new:

- The Grant went through (praise God) and i'm going full time with One80 in the fall... fun stuff
- I'm moving into Springfield in a sweet duplex thanks to Thor (that is his real name)
- I've been riding Quina's motorcycle and am saving up money to purchase said bike.
- Concrete is the same and the business has made me glad i'm in school to do somthing else.
- Wooster people.... i'll be seeing you soon.
- We might be podcasting in the fall so all you georgia people can check in on us.

I suppose that's it for now.. i'll actually have to write about the most crazy thing that has happened in a long time... it involves a stranger in KY in a Gas station... coming soon.

Corndog - from Krystal's. Oh the humanity. This is what the lady seated across the row was eating....or at least chewing...for the moment. This chewing continued for a split second before erupting into a face that would make grown men cry. The lady was from Germany and had been in the country for thirty minutes; this German had just discovered that Krystal is not only caustic, it's not too tasty as well.

Some things are not worth discovering. Like that horse. The wooden one sitting proudly in your living room. You know the one you found just laying outside your front door this morning. You thought - this is a steal - Who the heck would leave a perfectly good horse lying about?

Ah yes who is right....could have been a number of people: the mailman, santa, the girlscouts, Jehovah's witness (there's one they haven't tried)....but certainly not those midgets from next door armed with pointy swords. Sneaky devils. Those pointy next door midgets.

- And you wonder why some people shake presents before they open them. Wonder no more. They all came from Troy. And Christmas was a dreaded scarring holiday for years to come. I bet no one threw surprise parties for a lonnnnng time. Boo! AH! slash - your dead.

On the flip side some things are worth discovering. What if Columbus had wondered "is the world round" and some rock fell from the sky with yes written on it (Newton had it easy). That would have been it. I mean where's the fun in that. No Mutiny, no starvation, no peeing off the side of a ship, no calling innocent little mexicans "indians" cause you thought you were in the wrong spot. It would have been the world is round cause the sky rock told me so, the end.

I think God is much like this. Not like a round yes rock, but like discovery. I've been frustrated with church lately because sometimes we write answers on rocks. We don't drop them from the sky, we simply throw them at people. When faced with crisis or question we pretty much dictate the correct response. Cause that's what the Bible is to us... It's the book of correct responses....

The whole time we miss the fact that a relationship with an infinite God rests not in the showing off of the knowledge of the right answers but in the discovery of the one who wrote the answers - indeed eventually you come upon the fact that he is the ultimate answer. Much like Columbus you soon realize it's not the indian's you discovered, rather it's a new world. I think someone once called it a kingdom....

Christ told the Pharisees, "You search the scriptures cause in them you think is life, but they speak of me." Please don't think i am saying that the word of God is not living (Heb 4:12, I John 1, John 1) Merely perhaps people might benefit from more explorers, guides, adventures, and map makers.

May the discovery of the living God be our life's pursuit. His ways are limitless and His character boundless, mercy unending, and love farther one's eye can see. So dig a bit deeper and push on a bit farther, wonder what's around the bend and tell stories of His greatness. I doubt that you will ever be disappointed. And I doubt that you will ever unwrap His gift to find midgets with little pointy swords.

Class is pretty much finished for the year. Can't believe it's two years down and only 15 more credits to go. Talk about a weight off your shoulders. Man i've been in a wierd place lately - no not KY.

I think it is the result of too many research papers, books, church, work... actually work's been good ..Good in the haven't cut off your hand or lit yourself on fire sort of way... just having too much stuff to occupy my mind. I'm looking foward to having less stuff occupy my mind this summer. There's something we don't ever say in this country "Less stuff". Change of pace is good.

So there i sat last night/morning working on the last Homework of the year and attempting to watch Everybody loves raymond - In truth i never really loved raymond, i down right hated raymond.. but then in a sudden change one day BAM i loved raymond. Hmm..what if real love were like that... "Dude i hate that girl kelly..." "Seriously tell me about it i BAM wait.. no.. i... i...I love kelly."

Actually i think reality is probably more like... I love that girl kelly... she is perfect... i will marry perfect kelly... (Your wedding vows) ... "do you ____ take perfect kelly to be your wife"...."shyaa heck yeah i do"...ah life with perfect kelly.... kids with perfect kelly... house with perfect kelly.... "perfect kelly make me dinner please".... "perfect kelly do the wash" "perfect kelly .. BAM- You're dead. Kelly was sick of not perfect you.

I really think relationships are just there to prove you
1. Can't trust yourself,
2. Are an evil evil ogre at heart
3. Need people? I know who would have thought.

Sorry where was i ... oh yes watching "that show." Anyway so a comercial comes on for this car called a yari? yuri? dunno. But it gets 40mpg and is 12 grand... i was like no way. Now maybe it was the fact that it was 1 in the morning or the waffle i had just eaten or maybe even the fact that i hadn't had any personal interaction in 7 hours but i thought this yari/yuri thing was pretty neat. And that's about it... really.

Having fought the wind rain and dark of night i have arrived safetly back in atlanta. Ohio was good. It was fun just hanging out and catching up.

On another note i have a new cell phone. I can now actually see who is calling me and who i want to call, as well as send text messages. Hurray. I feel this is a move that helps us all.

Also a friend has offered me a motorcycle at a discounted rate should i desire to purchase said bike. What do you think?

Up to ohio for almost a week. It will be good to see some of you soon. I'm driving today for about 8 hours so if you want to chat i'll be more than willing.

Trying to stay focussed for that last three weeks of class....

Spring is here, i hope it sticks around. I think every spring you realize how depressed you were in the winter...well not depressed depressed just sun deprived i think. Can't wait for warm weather stuff. Water Skiing, rope swings.... lemonade..
